"I joined PCDA because it is a good venue to meet other choral directors, share ideas and learn from others. The world of choral music, especially here in the Philippines, is very strong. However, it has not reached yet the recognition it deserves. PCDA is one way of recognizing not only the choral groups but the men and women behind the voices as well. PCDA is not only about the Philippines' choral scene. It also connects people to the international choral arena where Philippine choral groups are given high regards" (29 July 2011)
CARLO C. CRUZ Malabon City Since I came to know the existence of the group, I dare to know its programs and activities. That is why, when I have read through the internet that there will be a national convention in Davao City, without second thoughts, I at once grabbed the opportunity to apply and register. ……because I believe that joining this kind of organization would greatly help with my inclinations in music. Though I do not have a degree in music, I can still be trained by joining workshops/conventions in honing my singing and more importantly my directing/conducting skills. PCDA has greatly helped me a lot! The week-long national convention in Davao has equipped me to become a better chorister wherein most of the speakers are of world- class caliber. Also, some of its members are winners in different prestigious international choral competitions thereby making it a world class organization…… Moreover, I have invited other chorister here in the province to join the group -for them to be fully equipped in their chosen field……. MABUHAY ANG PCDA!!!" (28 July 2011)
