Martin Lester J. Antonio 25th Harmony Chorale ~ Ricass Chapel Choir ~ Psalter of St. Joseph Choir
Martin discovered his passion for music when he joined a choral group in his high school days. Not in his idea that he will love choral music. Because of that, he learned to read notes and play musical instruments which eventually led to playing in church as part of his service.
He further improved his craft when he joined a university choir during his college days. He had a chance to meet and work with good singers, musicians and conductors. These people have inspired him to strive that someday he will be able to handle choirs on his own. Today, he is the musical director and conductor of some church choirs in his community, Psalter of St. Joseph Chorale and Ricass chapel choir to name a few. He is also an assistant conductor of the 25th harmony Chorale, a community choir.
Martin is one of the new members of the Philippine Chorale Directors Association and as long as music is there, he will continue to pursue his passion and share this to others.

Robert Tim "RT" C. Hernandez The Herald's Choir ~ Himig ni San Antonio ~ Parish Youth Choir
RT discovered his musicality when he started singing in a church choir at the age of 14. Driven by this creative new interest, he went on to learn to read notes and play the piano on his own. This led him to start teaching choirs and eventually doing musical arrangements. For several years now, he has been actively participating in church choirs namely The Herald's Choir, PYC, PMC and the Himig ni San Antonio Choir. He recently joined Koro Ilustrado under the stewardship of Jong and Anna Piquero who encouraged him to join the PCDA.
RT will be one of the new faces in the PCDA's 1st National Convention to be held on June 16-21. He looks forward to learning from the PCDA masterclasses for his development as choral conductor in order for him to share his learnings with the groups in which he is involved. RT counts the Madz, UE Chorale, UV Chorale, SLU Glee Club and The Chamber Choir of Asia as some of his favorite choirs. He likes Ryan Cayabyab's works and identifies John Pamintuan's "Alma De Cristo," "Crucifixus," "O Quam Tu Pulchra Es," and "Dies Irae" as the top numbers in his playlist of choral pieces. As a conductor, RT aspires to become a well known choral director like Anna Piquero whom he admires. (Photo: RT Hernandez)
Kristine Jan C. Tan PAREF Woodrose Glee Club (Intermediate) ~ PAREF Southcrest Chorale ~ Banilad Study Center Choir ~ Wyetth Chorale ~ Matlang Church Choir
Kristine Jan Tan developed a passion for music when she first joined chorale in college. Her choir was headed by Ms. Lala Kliatchko, to whom Jan took an immediate liking. She realized she wanted to be just like Lala. Singing in the chorale impressed her, and she enjoyed it immensely. She began to take further interest towards chorale conducting in particular, and started reading up on it. Aside from her passion for music, she also found another passion that changed her life: teaching. In the schools she taught in, she began forming all-girls choirs, drawing from her experience in college and her own studies.
All throughout her life, she kept her love for music, singing, and conducting alive by awakening the same love in others. She continues singing and conducting even today. She most recently held a teaching position in PAREF Southcrest School, an exclusive school for girls, where she took up and encouraged the small chorale. After holding auditions, she had a group of girls ranging from intermediate to high school. Drawing harmony from the varied voices of these girls was no easy task, and it sometimes required working with them in smaller groups. But her hard work paid off when they were soon able to perform at school functions - stage plays, academic weeks, Liturgical ceremonies, etc...
She has just recently become a member of the Philippine Choral Directors Association, and is, as always, looking to make her dream to make every person discover and develop their natural gift of singing, sharing this gift with others.
